The RFID Door Lock is a lock that is simple to install and allows the user to easily lock and unlock doors. In this problem statement, you have to create an Android or Web App along with an RFID Door lock system. All the users will need is an RFID tag to be able to unlock and lock the door. A LED or a liquid crystal display will be used to let the user know when the door is locked. The components included in the module must be small and compact.

Bonus round: special preference will be given to the teams who can automate the door lock with a RFID tag and a mobile app (connectivity can be of any type)

The app must have a message system where users can see messages while the door opens using the RFID tag.

You have to make a catapult bot which is rotatable around the normal axis of its base. This bot will be placed in the center of a circle of 40 cm radius. A bucket will be placed in 40 cm away from the center. Bucket can be placed in anywhere of the circumference of the circle. Using the bot you have to throw a ball to the bucket. To get actual position of bucket you can use any sensor.

Constraints:

1.     Dimension of the bot: base-10cm radius, height- 20cm.

2.     Diameter of the ball ≤ 7cm.

3.     Arena will be of 40cm radius.

4.     Any power supply and any microcontroller or microprocessor board can be used

These tasks should be performed automatically: -

1.     Rotate the bot around the axis of base

2.     Find the actual position of bucket

3.     Throw the ball

Submit a report which should contain the followings:

1.     Full description such as, model design, hardware and software working, electronics used, circuit schematics, power management, etc.

2.     Optimizations taken to reach proper accuracy, power consumption.

3.     Model limitations and places for further improvement.

Rules:

1.     Project should be submitted in Online mode with detailed video & images.

2.     Length of the radius of circle should be visible clearly.

3.     Show 5 trials, in each trial position of the bucket should be different on the circumference.

Moving in complex environments is an essential capability of robots. So, to have a better understanding of the environment and properly navigate a task, they need input about their environment.

In this competition, you’ll help robots recognize the floor surface they’re standing on using data collected from Inertial Measurement Units (IMU sensors).

IMU sensor data were collected while driving a small mobile robot over different floor surfaces. The task is to predict which one of the nine floor types (carpet, tiles, concrete) the robot is on using sensor data such as acceleration and velocity.
