The inaugural Innovation Challenge by IntelliSmart Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. invites ideas to solve three relevant challenges that can help improve the power distribution sector in the country. The challenges that revolve around Smart Metering and Smart Home Communications align with IntelliSmart business priorities and areas in which innovation is needed to strengthen the technologies and the viability of a Smart Meter roll out..


Challenges

Develop an economically viable communication module

To prepare a communication solution which can enable multiple devices in consumer premises (such as smart electricity meter, smart gas meter, smart water meter, smart home appliances etc.) talk to a communication device placed in consumer premises.

Develop a Smart Home Communication and Control Hub ( SHCH)

SHCH shall be supported by an Internet Web Site as well as Mobile Application to interact with outside world and securely collaborate with third party applications such as Weather, News, e-commerce, e-payment etc.

Design ‘Integrated Compact Group Smart Meter’

Following needs to be kept in mind while developing a workable idea: 1.For single Mobile Network Operator, Single NIC compatible for all (GPRS technology such as NBIoT/ 4G/ 3G/ 2G, etc.), Meters should have capability to select best available technology
