All members of the team should be a part of the same institution/college(different campuses, if any, will be treated as a separate entity). However, you are allowed to team up with students in a different stream. For example: A team can consist of 2 CSE, 1 ECE and 1 Mechanical student, but they need to be a part of the same college.

Each team needs to have 3 participants at least, and 4 participants at max.

The organizing team will approve and confirm your participation. Shortlisted teams will receive a confirmation email by 6th March 2024.

All the members of the team need to be present at PES University, RR Campus, Bangalore for the entire duration of the hackathon on 9th and 10th of March 2023. It is a 24-hour overnight hackathon and the teams shall stay within the permissible limits of the college campus, during the course of the event.

You do not have to pay any fee to apply for the hackathon and make your idea submission. However, the shortlisted teams will be required to pay a nominal fee, which will be communicated further.

Yes, the organisers of DevelopForHer 4.0 will make all the suitable arrangements for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner on Day 1, as well as breakfast and lunch on Day 2. We will also be providing Wi-Fi connectivity to all the participants. However, you are free to carry your own broadband/hotspot devices, for your convenience.

Of course, you can! As long as you have an amazing idea and a passion for problem solving, YES, you can participate. We also have an mentor support team at the hackathon.

An expert panel of experienced mentors, professors will review all the idea submissions made across the different themes, and shortlist the top 32 ideas, to attend the offline hackathon and work on their prototypes.

Please bring a valid university ID card. Carry your own laptops, chargers, and any hardware you will be using for your hack. Make sure to carry your own toiletries and other basic personal necessities. No firearms, weapons, alcohol, or illegal drugs are allowed on campus. A detailed code of conduct will be shared with you, if selected.

NO. In the interest of fairness, students should not be working on their projects before DevelopForHer 4.0 begins and we do not allow participants to work on pre-existing projects. There are strict protocols in place to ensure the same. However, you can familiarize yourself with all the tools and technologies you intend to use beforehand.
